Highlights of the joint cooperation between ETQAAN Authority and PVTD

Integrated Training Program for External Reviewer Qualification in the Technical and Technological Education Sector

            As part of the joint cooperation between the Egyptian TVET Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN) and the Productivity and Vocational Training Department, the Integrated Training Program for External Reviewer Preparation in the Technical and Technological Education Sector was implemented from 15 to 25 August 2026 at the Staff Training Institute in Al-Amiriya, Cairo Governorate.

         The training program was conducted as part of the ongoing cooperation between the two entities to support the quality assurance and accreditation system, enhance the capacity of staff to apply quality standards and improve their performance, as well as support institutions and programs in the Technical and Technological Education Sector in meeting quality assurance standards. It also aimed to qualify specialized cadres to undertake external review activities.

        The training program included a series of specialized training sessions and practical activities aimed at developing participants’ knowledge and skills and qualifying them to carry out external review activities efficiently and professionally. This contributes to efforts to enhance the quality of the Technical and Technological Education system and strengthens the readiness of the centers and programs affiliated with the Productivity and Vocational Training Department to meet quality and accreditation requirements.
