ETQAAN concluded the setting of the accreditation standards for technological education institutions

The Egyptian TVET for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority concluded the setting of the accreditation standards for technological education institutions during a meeting that brought together members of the committee responsible for setting accreditation standards for technological education programs and institutions in Egypt.

The meeting was attended by faculty members representing the Supreme Council for Technological Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as representatives of the leadership of technological universities, technological colleges, the Higher Institute of Transport Technology, post-secondary technological institutes, and health institutes. It also included representatives of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, the Ministry of Health and Population, the General Authority for Teaching Hospitals and Institutes, and the Education Development Fund.

In addition, representatives of the Technical Committee for Quality Management System Criteria for Educational Institutions at the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality, representatives of employers from the labor market, civil society organizations, and a distinguished group of quality assurance experts from ETQAAN participated in the meeting, chaired by Prof Dr. Mohamed Mousa Emarah, Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian TVET for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN).
