ETQAAN Held an Intensive Workshop with directors of Quality Improvement and Assurance Units in the educational directorates
The Egyptian TVET for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN) held an intensive workshop with directors of Quality Improvement and Assurance Units in the educational directorates and representatives of Transition-to-Work Units. The workshop focused on training participants to apply institutional accreditation standards and indicators for technical and technological secondary schools and achieving the acceptable performance level.
The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Moussa Emara, Chairman of ETQAAN, along with the Director of the General Administration for Commercial and Hotel Education, representatives from the Industrial and Agricultural Education Administration, and the Central Unit for Quality Improvement and Assurance in Technical Education at the Ministry.
Participants actively engaged in the sessions and praised the clarity and comprehensiveness of the standards, noting that they cover all aspects of evaluating technical and technological secondary schools. They also highlighted the consistency of the standards and their practical applicability, ensuring that institutions can achieve acceptable performance levels with transparency to qualify for accreditation.
Prof. Dr. Emara announced that ETQAAN will continue organizing a series of workshops in the coming period. These workshops aim to train representatives from all staff members of technical and technological secondary schools, Productivity Units under the Ministry of Industry, nursing schools and institutes under the Ministry of Health and Population as well as the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes, to apply program accreditation standards and indicators and achieve the required performance level.
