The Egyptian TVET for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN)
held an intensive workshop to discuss the requirements and procedures of applying for accreditation of technological education programs and institutions, as well as how to complete the self- assessment templates for programs and institutions applying for accreditation.
he Egyptian TVET Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (ETQAAN) held an intensive workshop to discuss the requirements and procedures for applying for accreditation of technological education programs and institutions, as well as how to complete the self-assessment study templates for programs and institutions applying for accreditation.
The workshop addressed the requirements and procedures for accreditation of technological education programs and institutions and the proper completion of self-assessment study templates, in an atmosphere characterized by positive and constructive interaction.
Participants included members of the National Committee for setting Accreditation Standards for Technological Education Programs and Institutions in Egypt, composed of faculty members from various universities, along with representatives from the Military Technological College, the Supreme Council for Technological Education, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, technological universities, technological colleges, post-secondary technical institutes, health institutes, the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAA), representatives of the Technical Committee for Quality Management Systems Specifications for Educational Institutions at the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality, representatives of employers from the labor market, the General Authority for Health Insurance, the Giza Health Directorate, and a distinguished group of quality assurance experts at the Authority.
The workshop was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Moussa Emara, Chairman of the Board of Directors of (ETQAAN).
All attendees commended the clarity and consistency of the accreditation requirements, procedures, and self-assessment study templates for programs and institutions, as well as the accuracy of the required data. They also noted that the process of completing the self-assessment study templates is characterized by ease and simplicity, as they were designed to be straightforward and free from complexity, concise, and practical, making them easy to implement.
