The Professional Academy for Teachers and ETQAAN Authority signed a cooperation protocol

to promote the culture of quality

 

he Professional Academy for Teachers and ETQAAN Authority signed a cooperation protocol to promote the culture of quality, and to qualify staff working in technical and technological education institutions, and empower them to carry out their roles within the quality assurance units at their institutions.

                  Prof. Dr. Ayman Mohamed Baha El-Din, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Professional Academy for Teachers and (ETQAAN) Authority, concerning the promotion of a culture of quality, the qualification of staff working in technical and technological education institutions, and empowering them to perform their roles within the quality assurance units of their institutions. The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in the Administrative Capital.

                  The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Bahgat, Director of the Professional Academy for Teachers, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Moussa Emara, Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian TVET for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN).

                Representing ETQAAN at the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Fares and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Lotfy, Members of the Board of Directors, and Eng. Mahmoud Qassem, Director of Public Relations and Protocols at the Authority.

                Representing the Professional Academy for Teachers were Dr. Hassan Gaweesh, Deputy Director of the Academy, Dr. Mohamed Gad, Secretary General of the Academy, and Mrs. Iman Othman, Director of the Technical Office of the Academy Director.

               This protocol is of great significance, as it stipulates coordination between the two parties to define a package of training programs in the field of quality assurance and accreditation in technical education. These programs will be included within the training packages provided to technical education teachers as a requirement for obtaining the professional competency certificate.
