Chairman of ETQAAN Meets with Representatives of the European Training Foundation (ETF) to Discuss Areas of Joint Cooperation

nder the slogan “ETQAAN: A National Authority with an International Dimension through Global Vision and Mechanisms,” the chairman of ETQAAN held a meeting with the delegation representing the European Training Foundation (ETF) to discuss joint cooperation projects and the proposed timeline for their implementation. The meeting took place at the Authority’s headquarters.
The ETF delegation commended the achievements of the Egyptian TVET for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN) since the formation of its Board of Directors and the beginning of its work, particularly with regard to the establishment and operational pillars. They also praised the methodology adopted in setting the national standards for accrediting TVET programs and institutions, the engagement of national committees comprising representatives of all relevant stakeholders—including ministries, national authorities, the private sector, experts, and international partners—as well as the launch of the Authority’s official website (http://tqaan.eg) and the digital platform for training and (accreditation (http://tr.tqaan.eg. both available in Arabic and English..
The meeting also reviewed ETQAAN’s future steps and plans to expand the scope of cooperation and partnerships with a number of national entities, including the Ministry of Labor, the Productivity and Vocational Training Department, the Professional Academy for Teachers, and the Egyptian Syndicate of Nursing. In addition, discussions addressed enhancing international cooperation and partnerships with several regional and international organizations, including the European Commission, the European Training Foundation (ETF), the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), the British Council, and the French Development Agency (AFD), in a manner that enhances integration among the various stakeholders supporting the TVET system.
