Launch of ETQAAN Training Programs Across Various Governorates
part of its efforts to support the quality assurance and accreditation system in technical and technological education schools, the Egyptian for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN) organized a specialized training package in the governorates of Damietta and Kafr El-Sheikh during the period from (8 to 14) of February.
The program included training on the integrated package for preparing external reviewer. This package includes three programs: the Institutional Accreditation (Concept and Application), the Program Accreditation (Concept and Application), and the External Review Skills Development. The package focuses on strengthening fundamental concepts of quality assurance and accreditation, as well as application mechanisms within technical and technological education institutions and programs. This enhances institutional readiness to meet the targeted performance levels of accreditation standards and indicators for technical and technological education programs and institutions.
The training also enables participants to prepare accreditation files and implement continuous improvement plans efficiently and professionally within technical education schools, in addition to prepare a team of qualified external reviewers in accordance with approved quality standards.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Moussa Emara, Chairman of the Board of (ETQAAN), affirmed that the Authority will continue to deliver specialized training programs targeting various governorates, in support of Egypt’s efforts to develop the technical and technological education system and enhance its competitiveness in line with accreditation standards.
