A New Training Launch: ETQAAN Holds Its First Training of Trainers (TOT) Program
he Egyptian TVET for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN) organized its first Training of Trainers (TOT) program in the technical education sector. The program was conducted over five training days at the Authority’s headquarters.
The training program aimed to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and positive attitudes required to design and implement training programs efficiently and effectively. It also focused on developing presentation, communication, and training management skills, contributing to the promotion of a culture of quality and the enhanced application of institutional and program accreditation standards within educational and training institutions.
The program included several specialized training modules, such as modern training methods, designing training packages, and effectively managing training sessions. It also involved practical exercises on delivering presentations and handling training scenarios, thereby enhancing participants’ ability to systematically and effectively share and exchange expertise and knowledge.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Moussa Emarah, Chairman of ETQAAN, stated that the training program reflects ETQAAN’s ongoing efforts to build and develop the capacities of professionals in quality assurance and accreditation in technical, technological education, and vocational training. This initiative is part of the Authority’s plan to expand training and capacity-building programs, preparing a qualified cadre of trainers capable of transferring knowledge and expertise related to applying national accreditation standards for TVET institutions and programs, in line with the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030.
