In a step towards strengthening the quality system in technical and technological education.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mousa Emarah, Chairman of ETQAAN, signed the joint cooperation protocol with Dr. Amr Bosila, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development, representing the Minister of Education, on the sidelines of the second day of the workshop “The use of Quality Measurement Indicators for the TVET System.”
This cooperation aligns with Egypt Vision 2030 for the development of technical, technological education vocational training by enhancing the quality of performance within technical educational institutions and improving the efficiency of educational outputs in line with local and international labor market needs.
The protocol aims to strengthen quality and accreditation systems according to national and international standards, as well as implement training programs and build the capacities of both the central unit and the branch units in technical and technological schools, contributing to raising the efficiency of technical education.
During the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mousa Emarah, Chairman of ETQAAN, emphasized that this collaboration with the Ministry of Education represents a qualitative leap toward building an integrated system to ensure the quality of technical education in technical and technological institutions. He added that ETQAAN applies national standards aligned with international frameworks and systems, supporting the reliability and efficiency of accreditation.
Dr. Amr Bosila, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development and representative of the Minister of Education and Technical Education, stated that signing the cooperation protocol with ETQAAN represents an important step in supporting Egypt’s efforts to develop technical, technological, and vocational education based on a quality- and competency-based methodology. He noted that the ministry is working to enhance the efficiency of technical educational institutions and qualify them to obtain accreditation from ETQAAN.
