Sustained Delivery of Specialized Training Programs in Technical and Technological Education at ETQAAN Authority
Specialized training programs in the field of technical and technological education are still being delivered, at The Egyptian TVET Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN), chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mousa Emarah part of its ongoing plan to support and develop the capacity building of workers in the TVET sector, enhance the application of quality assurance and accreditation standards within educational institutions, and prepare external reviewers. The training package was implemented at ETQAAN’s headquarters over seven days, from 17 to 23 April, 2026.
This training program, which ETQAAN Authority delivers on a regular basis, aims to equip participants with knowledge related to institutional and program accreditation, as well as the skills required to prepare and qualify institutions and programs for accreditation. It also focuses on developing the skills of external reviewers in accordance with the latest systems and standards adopted by ETQAAN Authority.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Emarah, Chairman of ETQAAN Authority, emphasized that the sustained delivery of these training programs reflects the Authority’s commitment to promote a culture of quality and building the capacities of staff inside technical and technological education institutions. This contributes to improving institutional performance, enhancing the quality of educational outcomes, and strengthening alignment with labor market needs at both the national and international levels.
