Chairman of ETQAAN authority Receives Delegation from the Curative Organization to Discuss Cooperation and Enhance Quality Culture
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mousa Emarah, Chairman of the Egyptian TVET Quality Assurance and Accreditation (ETQAAN) Authority, welcomed a delegation from the Curative Organization affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Population, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Authority’s headquarter to discuss mechanisms for joint cooperation in supporting and developing the quality system for nursing educational programs and institutions affiliated to the Curative Organization.
The delegation of the Curative Organization included Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shaqwir, Chairman of the Directors Board of the Curative Organization; Dr. Hany El-Embaby, Director General of the Organization; Dr. Ahmed Abu Zeid, Deputy Director of Development and Committees at 6th of October Central Hospital; Dr. Sahar Mahmoud, Director of the Schools and Institutes Administration; Dr. Samah Mahmoud, Director of the Nursing Administration and Dr. Aziza Fouad, Supervisor at the Schools Administration.
Representing ETQAAN authority at the meeting were Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Fares, Vice Chairman of the Authority for Technical and Technological Education Affairs; Dr. Iman El-Shafie, Director General of the Chairman’s Office and Dr. Lamia Fouda, Department Director at the Authority.
The meeting witnessed extensive discussions on strengthening avenues of cooperation between both sides and activating quality assurance and accreditation standards within the educational and training institutions affiliated to the Curative Organization.
In this context, Dr. Mohamed Mousa Emarah, Chairman of ETQAAN authority’s Board of Directors, stated that this cooperation comes within the framework of the Authority’s direction toward promoting a culture of quality and expanding cooperation with various institutions in Egypt. He emphasized that spreading the culture of quality assurance and accreditation within technical and technological educational institutions, particularly in the healthcare sector, represents a fundamental pillar for improving the level of services provided and preparing qualified technical personnel in accordance with the standards approved by ETQAAN Authority.
