ETQAAN Authority Organizes an External Review Skills Development Program for Members of the Central Unit and Directors of the Sub-Units for Improving and Assuring the Quality of Technical Education (CEQAT) at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education

 part of the implementation of the cooperation protocol between the Egyptian TVET Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN) and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, ETQAAN Authority organized an External Review Skills Development Program for members of the Central Unit and Directors of the Sub-Units for Improving and Assuring the Quality of Technical Education (CEQAT) at the Ministry, in addition to the Quality Team of the Applied Technology Schools Operation and Management Unit. The program was held from 19 to 21 July 2026 at Port Said Secondary Hotel School.

                       The program was delivered by Dr Dalia Taha, Senior Expert at ETQAAN Authority, who presented both the theoretical and practical components of the training. The program covered the latest external review methodologies and mechanisms for applying quality standards through specialized training sessions and practical exercises, contributing to the qualification of personnel capable of conducting external reviews effectively and supporting technical and technological education institutions in meeting and maintaining quality assurance and accreditation requirements.

                 Prof. Dr Mohamed Mousa Emarah, Chairman of ETQAAN Authority, emphasized that the program reflects ETQAAN Authority’s commitment to strength institutional capacity and developing human capabilities in the fields of quality assurance and accreditation. He also highlighted the importance of reinforcing cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to foster a culture of quality, enhance the quality of the technical and technological education system, and support Egypt’s efforts to prepare graduates equipped with the competencies required to meet the needs of the local, regional, and international labor markets.
