part of its continued efforts to establish a comprehensive external review system for institutions and programs seeking accreditation, the Egyptian TVET Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority (ETQAAN), under the leadership of Prof. Dr Mohamed Mousa Emarah, has launched the External Reviewer Assessments and Interviews for applicants, aiming to select highly qualified national cadres to undertake external review tasks, thereby strengthening the accreditation system and disseminating the culture of quality across technical and technological education institutions.
Prof. Dr Mohamed Mousa Emarah, Chairman of ETQAAN Authority, emphasized that this initiative reflects the Authority’s commitment to apply accurate and objective criteria in the selection of external reviewers through a comprehensive assessment of applicants’ academic knowledge and professional competencies. He noted that the process is designed to establish a highly qualified pool of external reviewers capable of applying quality assurance and accreditation standards with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism, while contributing to enhance the effectiveness of external review processes.
