A stronger TVET system for better skills and opportunities!
Today, the European Union joined Egyptian partners and international stakeholders for the launch of Egypt’s National Framework of Indicators for Measuring the Quality of the TVET System, led by Egypt’s National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ETQAAN).
The new framework provides a common reference to measure performance, identify gaps and support evidence-based improvements, helping align skills development with Egypt’s evolving economy and labour market.
🇪🇺 For more than two decades, the European Union has been a strong and steady partner of Egypt’s TVET reform, supporting governance, curricula, teacher training and quality assurance. Through the EU4YES programme phase I and phase II, the EU remains committed to strengthening quality, relevance and opportunities in TVET, equipping young people with skills for employment and contributing to sustainable economic development.
